For those of you who don't know much (or anything ) about me, I just turned 31, and I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 lovely children. My weight problems started shortly after graduating high school. I have lost a few pounds here and there, only to gain them back again plus a few more. I want to be a good role model to my children. I think back on the time and energy I have exerted trying to lose weight and think "what could I have accomplished with all that time and energy if I had been able to direct it somewhere else?" I don't want this struggle for my children. I also want to live long enough to see them grow up, and see my grandchildren grow-up. Diabetes runs heavily in my family. Among some other relatives, my grandmother has it, and my mother died from it when she was only 30 years old. Heart disease also runs in my family. I realize that my chances for getting either of these is pretty high if I don't make some changes. I think I am ready, but I need some help along the way. And THAT is where you all come in! _________________ ~Jennie
